Holiday with your horses in the stunning lower Yorkshire dales & Nidderdale AONB.
You can choose to stay in our converted double decker bus (with hot tub) , pod or pitch for tents or lorry’s. We also have a converted daff horse box with hot tub, plus mini horse box cabin both sleep 6 together (perfect for groups) shown by Joy the shire horse.
We have direct access to quiet country lanes, bridle ways and routes from the site to hack and explore the area. From the campsite you could reach as far as the top of Nidderdale to masham or fountains abbey the other direction.
Happy to recommend hacking routes depending on what sort of distance you want or view on Strava, a place to dip a place to gallop or a route to enjoy breathtaking scenery.
Then when you get back to site, freshen up in our new shower block which had an extensive rebuild for 2024 with underfloor heating, grab a drink from the cafe/bar (opening summer 2024) or relax in one of our mobile hot tubs.
For the horses we have a selection of paddocks laterally a step out of your glamping unit or a short walk down to our private stables if needed and exercise track (grass) which we built for our own horses on site. Haylage or hay from Aroma Hay (our other business supplying hay locally), poo picking service included (just leave it we sort it).
Secure electrified paddocks covered by cctv from the stables and parking for horsebox / trailers. Anything longer than a double decker bus will not fit up the driveway.
Unfornutally we do not offer guided hacks but can provide advice before you head out.

Relaxing Family Break
With almost stunning 360 degree views onto Dallowgill & Nidderdale one way and as far as the White Horse & Sutton Bank another. Ivy Bank has a great variety of pitches for you to relax in, explore and recharge.
The campsite field is spacious and well looked after featuring both electric and non electric pitches which are suitable for tents, classic campers and modern caravans. With great sunsets, lots of taps and commercial recycling to be kind to the environment. The electric pitches are 9 amps & the non electric field has been relandscped in 2024 to be more level.
The main shower block is the hub of the site with guest kitchen area (with fridge freezer etc), ladies & gents toilets, heated indoor showers, plugs to charge phones ,the site reception where we will check you in (plus a small shop with essentials). Then we have upgraded the kiosk for 2024
We also have fire pits and mobile hot tubs available to hire.
